It’s a shame the level of discussion about gender equity in this country doesn’t equate to action on the issue because there’s more happening at the moment than any time I can recall.

Last week there were several forums to mark Equal Pay Day (or Unequal Pay Day as some of us prefer to dub it), and Chief Executive Women held its annual dinner in Sydney. Yesterday UN Women held a forum on gender equality, and tonight Women in Banking and Finance has its annual forum also in Sydney.

There are a range of conferences scheduled over the next few weeks too. Hope some of the talk translates to progress soon.
